Advanced search on your 3rd edition
Nokia E-series phones have an advanced search application that allows you to search your messages, e-mails, calendar events, contacts, to-dos, notes and files. For some reason it isn’t part of their N-series phones, perhaps to make their E-series more attractive. Luckily it’s possible to install the search application on any Symbian 3rd edition device. So now you can get advanced search on your N-series phone. Select the item types you want to search through. You can search messages, e-mails, calendar events, contacts, to-dos, notes and files. Enter the term you want to search for, and hit search.
You will get a list of the different item types and how many hits your search has resulted in for each item type in parenthesis. Click on one of the item types.
You will get a list of all of the items that contain your search phrase. Click on one of them to open it.
Download the search app using the link below, and install it like any other application on your phone.
